2008 Membership dues
Yes friends, it's that time of the year to renew your membership in LELA. This is particularly important if you want to participate in our upcoming shows. Also, the fee is currently $50. per year, and will rise to $75. February 1 2008.New Partnership
LELA Chairman Hideo Sakata has drawn upon his extensive contacts to arange for Peter Frank, Curator of the Riverside Art Museum, to curate a show for LELA members. We have not yet arranged the location or date of the show, but stay tuned!
LELA Art Camp in Armenia 2007
Another very successful Art Camp was held in Yerevan, Armenia in conjunction with the 16th International Art Festival. LELA artists worked with a local school for the blind, creating clay sculptures. There was also a large project with International artist Katsumi Mukai.
LELA Art Camp in Thailand 2005.
This successful event featured artists from 9 nations and was held at several different venues within our host country.
We thank our gracious hosts from these Thai academic institutions - and we look forward to future collaborations !
